There have been a lot more than three posted, some with questionable circumstances and others not so circumstancial. I think we are all trying to say that if there is an issue and BT knows they should recall the affected limbs and replace them.

BTW, what grain arrow are you shooting to hit 310fps out of a General? It sound like you are way light on your setup and could be the next victim;)
No I'm just proof if you do things correct you will not have a problem!;)Im shooting a 300 Gr. arrow go ahead rip me all you want. My bow performs flawlessly and one more thing I can post a picture of a blown up bow and blame it on bad limbs but you still never know the circumstances!
If yours blows up we'll know why;)
No way man I will post pictures and say it's a limb problem so we can continue to bash an unknown!

But you have already incriminated yourself for shooting over the 5gr. per inch guidelines;)

Missed what? I know what I am pulling and the bow has no problem handling it! I pull 70lbs and yes Im under the GPI. by a few big deal! The bow's today are fine in handleing it if properly taken care of! I will be turning it back down to 62lbs shortly which puts me at the min. I bumped it up to build up my shoulder with no problem! shop owner and all his clients shoot like this and funny not one problem! but anyways Jeff yes I know where I am at with my bow and am very satisfied!;)

Wasn't asking to find out if you were satisfied, or not. I was wondering if you're within specs and warranty.....given the stats you were citing.

No big deal, to me.[8D] I'm in spec.

But for the record......62#'s won't get you inside 5gpp, either.;)

i asked my dealer the other day and they said they hadnt had any problems with the general. I do have one friend that had bad limbs on another model but bowtechquickly took care of it and he was a happy camper

I shoot the General and I am shooting light arrows and shooting 310fps!
I'd like to know why this isn't considered a speed bow? And if this isn't one, somebody please tell me what does constitute a speed bow?

I work in a field where eye injury is a very big factor
Me too, Jim....and we're one of our industry's leaders in safety (one of four GC's in our state with the Building Star award distinction).

I thought (and posted why) you'd used that concern to take a shot at this bow/mfr.. Like I said....if you didn't...my apology was sincere...and thanks for accepting.

Now.....you're still old and crotchety. ;)
I was taking my nap and missed this.
