Raceway....

Let me ask you a question...

Are you implying (by posting what you did) that the portions in bold are quotes from the company (bowtech)? The reason I ask is....I think those could either be substantiated or dispelled by some of our members here "in the know".

If they tell you those words are NOT from the company.....would you drop it?

2-3 issues???? There are 2-3 a day being posted on other sites after a good weekend of shooting.
I said, raceway....known to me....I don't know what's being posted on other sites.

Look...I have no ties to them...and I'd honestly hope Mathews, Hoyt or Elite would get the benefit of the doubt in a similar situation.
Just trying to discuss this without preconceived prejudices.

I work in a field where eye injury is a very big factor
Me too, Jim....and we're one of our industry's leaders in safety (one of four GC's in our state with the Building Star award distinction).

I thought (and posted why) you'd used that concern to take a shot at this bow/mfr.. Like I said....if you didn't...my apology was sincere...and thanks for accepting.

Now.....you're still old and crotchety.

I love my BT Ally and wouldn't trade it. I guess BT has a big bad batch of epoxy, but I would think they would have a recall before they get sued so bad they will go out of business. Im sure Bt is not the only company that has had issues like this, so there is no need to pile on them, they are great bow and I hear nothing but good things about the warranty.

Tell me more, Landon. I hadn't heard anything specific about these issues.

I don't know anymore Jeff, someone posted to this thread and said something about calling them and they said they knew they had a batch of bad epoxy.... I don't know what that means really. It's just strange that it's only the General. Oh yeh BTW, someone said that the General was a speed bow?? I don't think it is supposed tobe a speed bow. I may be wrong though!

I would have to say it has more to do with the braced limbs and the shot force all ending up in the limb tips IMHO.

I just know this one was broken right at the axle and the cam was laying on the floor.

I just wonder how much is heresay.....conjecture.....or just some "haters" "piling on".

I wish the guys from Bowtech would come in here and say something about it. It's "kinda" warranting a response....if these issues keep coming up (eitehr real or gossip).

I'd just like to hear it either recognized or put to bed.

YEah....the General as a speed bow....lol.
