Default Arrow weight with & without cresting.

I weighed one of my crested hunting arrows and one of my non crested practice arrows. The difference was 440gr uncrested and 442 crested. I was surprised, I thought my arrows would weigh in at about 425. I'm not very good at math I guess or just forgot to add a component when estimating weight. Any "weigh", LOL,( forgive the pun), the paint didn't add enough weight to make a discernable difference. These arrows don't have an elaborate pattern but you get the idea. Here is what the painted arrow looks like. The unpainted is identicle but for the paint.

Thanks, Greg... I don't think I ever actually weighed any before and after when I used to cap/crest a bunch.

I do know that it was neglible, as you just showed.
