you must be tall.
DDDDDdDaaaaaammmmmmnnnnn!

Seriously though Big Tim, if your cloths are clean (non scented) and you shower down (non scented) and I personal feel use Scent Killer before and after you get to your stand and hunt the wind the best you can (can't be perfect), you'll be doing everything you can besides spending the money. Deer have been taken before these other products and they will from this date forward. Do everything you can right and it'll pay off. If and when you have it, pick up a suit if it helps your confidence.

Good luck big man.

Tim,
I've used the BEST Scent-Lok suit you can find (IMVHO), a Military CHEM Suit, the technology that the Scent-Lok was derived from. But I don't use it except for LATE season now for the warmth now!!! Look around, and see if you can find some X-SCENT or Silver Ion anti-microbial base layers. If you can get them, put them on as your base right against your skin, then wear whatever outers you want. My early season stuff would be worthless in the late season when there is snow on the ground and who the hell has $600 or so to put into 3 set of scent-lok outers??? Not me!!!! IF you can find some of this stuff in your size, get it, it's the BEST stuff I've used. Also, if you're not wearing a facemask, even a really light one, you should be, I've read that anywhere from 80-95% of our scent comes from our HEAD!!!!

Good Luck!!!!

EDIT: Especially for SWEATY GUYS, I'm a sweater too, the X-scent in a LIGHT weight base layer is almost perfect. Whether stand hunting, stalking, or climbing my happy but all over mountains in Colorado, they did a great job of keeping my stink down!!!

Hey Tim, I am a big guy too (6'10" 380) and I too would REALLY like a scent lok suit, if for no other reason than because it is quality stuff. My bro has a couple suits, and they are sweet, but he is closer to normal size. I wear a 3XT in most things, the T for me is the more important part. OHbowhntr mentioned the X-scent stuff, and I use it. I have a pair of Cabelas long undies that have the silver fibers in them, they are the bowhunter extreme or something like that, and they are awesome. Gander Mountain has a lot of stuff that comes in 3X that fits me very well, like it is big for the size marked. I have a full set of their TecH2O rain gear in 3X that fits awesome, the jacket it actually a little big. I also have two pullover in 3X that fit great. Definitely worth a look for you. I got a Scent Blocker Dream Season jacket for by b-day last year, and it fits ok, just a little short. Pants weren't even close. Good luck in your search! I have also gotten stuff of bigcamo.com. I got my boots there, Bogs in size 17.

Hey guys,I've got a scentlok suit for ya!!! I'm a bigger guys too, 6'1" 330 and am cleaning out my closet I posted a message on the hunting gear forum a couple days ago, here's the link.

http://huntingnet.com/forum/tm.aspx?m=2926703

And here is the list of what I've got:

All of this stuff is about 5-6 years old, I just can't wear mossy oak anymore so it's been sitting in my closet for 3-4 years and it's time to go.
everything is mossy oak break up except the mad dog pants (they are max4)tshirts 4x on all3 long sleeve1 short sleeve1 henley (3 button collar, heavier than a t-shirt.)$10 a piece or $40 for all 5Pants 3x1 6 pocket scentlok (bottom leg tie is broken on one leg, otherwise they are fine) $351 6 pocket regular pants $151 2x mad dog growler water proof pants max 4 camo (I took tags off to take on a trip but never wore them) $40Jackets1 5x medium weight zip out liner $251 5x heavy weight saddle cloth(water proof) $401 4x scentlok light/medium weight $40Rain gearLacrosse Aeriform suitjacket and bibs(jacket is marked 7x but is actually a small 5x bibs are marked 5x but are 3-4x) $85Dri dudz (like frogg toggs) 5x suitjacket and pants $55I also have a Summit "seat o the pants" safety harness size Large (35-46 waist) I have a 50" waist and it fits me fine. It's the pro series i think that has a built in vest with pockets, not just the straps. $40$4oo if you add it all up, I'd do $350 if you took it all!! I know I've got over $900 in all this stuff so your getting it for less than 1/2!!I'm open to offers too, I'd like to see this stuff gone
