I know your not complaining. I was serious about looking into some land in the easternt part of the state. Or somewhere where there are big bucks. Like this guy. How close are you to Franklin County??

ORIGINAL: GMMAT

I hope that's always clear. I do the best I can hunting where I choose to hunt.....and I'm OK with that.
I hear you Jeff. Why don't you treat yourself (you deserve it) and join me in Alberta this year? There's probably still a chance to squeek in for the last week of Nov.

There are bucks that Big in my county. I've seen them. Do I have access to them? Nope. Can I get it? No. It's not that important to me, really.....even if I could.

I hunt where I want to, VA.....and have no desire to travel to hunt what I can right here at home......which is "deer". I can always substitute age structure for antlers and challenge myself that way.....which I've done "fairly" successfully. I'm just fine with it.....but I do appreciate your suggestion(s).

EI......no interest in heading to Canada to hunt deer. Just different strokes.

Also.....I went to college in Union Co. Believe me.....guys there would LOVE to hunt where I do.

THAT deer (if it came from Union co., NC)IS (as Quik eluded to) an "anomoly".
