Man Law - Check out the size of this broadhead....

Be prepared to change out those blazers for 5" helical feathers.
I would be very surprised if blazers provided adequate control for those snuffers at any speed.

I just need to figure out the best way to sharpen these things - they come un-sharpened.

Even though I tried to clean this deer up and hide the hole for the picture (it was a mess), you can still see the size hole the Snuffer cut.
Now by brother in law shot one and could not find a spec of blood past the first 10 yards were he shot it. When I got there he said he would never use a Snuffer again because he knew he made a good shot and he did. It was an easy track job with a flashlight just following the freshly turned over leaves to the deer about 60 yards away. He has been a Snuffer Freak ever sinse we found that buck, it had chunks of shoulder muscle hanging outside theholes, plugging the blood up.

Is it possible that you are losing penitration, I assume that it is heavier then your current broadhead so one might think that you are also losing FPS? I dont know just throwing out an idea that i may learn sumthing from.

I sharpen mine using a large flat stone and a strap of leather glued to a pice of wood.
Start by pulling them (FLAT) across the stone from back to tip.
Start with 15 reps on all 3 sides, then 13, 11, 9, and so on till you get to one and see how sharp they are, repeat the process if nessary.
Once they are sharp repeat the process on the leather strap, it takes the burs off and the cutting edge will be polished.
If they are real dull or have tool marks in them, dont be afraid to use a fine metal file on them to start with. just be sure to stroke the same amount of times on each side.
If you have any questions PM me and I will give you my phone #

I've got the FOB's on standby just in case. I figure my arrow speed is going to be around 245 fps and I'll have 16 - 17% FOC so hopefully that helps.
I just need to figure out the best way to sharpen these things - they come un-sharpened.

I gotta clean this Mtn. Dew up now

I hope it works out for you. IMHO a long heavy head like the Snuffer will increase your FOC and also penetration due to the weight &low blade angle, but Damage will not be much more than a Slick Trick and/or Grizz Trick. IMO with that low blade angle you also lose the splash effect.
It really depends on what kind of critter you are trying to penetrate.
