As most of you have already heard we had a great time in Northwest Pa over the weekend. I would do it every month if it was possible.

joshw020 ... Your one good sport....Being left behind at the campgrounds without your phone and still smiling and laughing about it. Also the rock we forgot to present you and taking our joking so well. Remember what Scott said about your grip and you'll be competing with him next year.


Rob/PA... Your a class act no matter what Scott and Germ say about you.Congratulations on your big win. Thanks for sharing your harvest and breaking out the Deer Bologna both nights. It was some tasty eats. I would also like to say that your time spentgiving a few guys some pointers on how to improve their archery skills was very unselfish of you. Alot of people don't take that time to explain things.

Germ ... It was good to meet you. Your wife will neverhear about the Doritos or the Cookie Crisp you snuck out and bought from me. Good shot at the 108 yard buck.

MATHEWS PA BOWHUNTER... Chris sorry I didn't get alot of time to talk to you, but I'm glad you made it out to shoot with us. Seeing as how you only live in Corry maybe you could get back over for one of our next shoots. Dave has a Hunt of a Lifetime shoot on August 31and a final shoot of the year on Sept 28. Bring the little guy too, he's always welcome.

PA Bow/Flinter .... Steven I guess walking the course and ranging the animals for Dave didn't do us any good. Thanks for coming out to help and I'm sorry I was late. I'm usually ALWAYS on time. Lets get together and shoot again before you go back to school. I'll PM you my cell #.

I have 5 pounds of thawed elk meat that will turned into meatloaf and no one to share it with[:'(]. One thing for sure, it will be done before anything starts to happen..

Think next year (and there will be a next year) before we all get tired out....

Yes camera's are a must. I wish I would have taken more pictures. They just don't do the justice on the overall great time. I also had two video cameras and my still camera takes short videos. I should have used that to get everyone to say hello on a short video.

Not to worry, the sutures should come out Friday, and my lawyer has already been in contact w/ Big Bubba regarding a new policy for the campground on viscious attack RATS!!!! :D

Likewise, Doug, it was a pleasure, and I thank you and yours for the hospitality as y'all opened up and welcomed us in like family, even if some of us were seemingly of questionable character (like my brother GERM). Great pic's, you certainly captured the some of the highlights of the weekend.

A camera will be accompanying me when I return next year as well. I'll love to have been able to capture the moments a little better myself.

Again, I can't say enough about how much of a CLASS act everyone there was.

Thanks for the great hospitalty, you were pretty busy with the running of the show, i should have spoken to you too. I will try and make it up to DAVE's before archery season starts. Dave has a great place, one thing could make it better ( MATHEWS PRODUCTS) WINKIE WINKIE.

Do you go to any other 3D shoots, would like to get together and shoot again. This time much better of course. The little guy loves to shoot his bow. He also wouldn't mind to tag along.

Thanks again everyone for a great time. Next time i'm going to ask off and camp, that sounds like that was were the fun was.

Thanks Doug! I'm working on the grip daily until it's second nature. Still not sure about competing with the likes of Scott,but a man can always dream :D . . and Rob too!

Excellent, use it when your hanging around the yard, taking walks etc....use the 5 checks and then range it to see how far your off or on. You'll be surprised how fast you start seeing distances. Thanks for making me laugh, "Guess who's in the 11 again"...winky winky.

Heck Rob, the BAD news is that you and LUCKEYE are probably the only two guys who left the weekend without much room to improve!!!!! Not sure if it's a good or a bad thing, but I WAS THRILLED with my 259, because I thought I'd do worse in all honesty.

Doug, it was great getting to meet you and I will definitely take you up on that offer to shoot again. Give me a few weeks to finish tweeking my bow and then lets do it. I need to redeem myself after that pitiful performance. We should get Matt (07tomkat) to shoot with us as well. Is there a day/time you normally stop by Dave's during the week? I need to get some more arrows fletched in a bit so I'll be stopping by a time or two.

Ya definitely if either of you guys ever wanna shoot just let me know with a time and location. I usually try to go to a 3D shoot every sunday at diferent shops within the areaso if you would like i can let you know which ones I'm goin to. Everytime Dave's archeryhas one though I am almost always there.
