All I can say is I've been shooting a bow for about 30 years, and I can say with confidence that I know good form when I see it. I'm no instructor
if that's what you're asking. If you're happy with your form and are shooting well, don't pay me any never mind.;):D |

All I'm saying is, there isn't anything wrong with a little higher elbow if it's not TOO high. There are MANY pro's who shoot this way. Another good thing to look at is look at how many pro's have a low elbow. Virtually none. Those numbers don't lie ;)
I higher elbow makes it a little easier to activate a release with backtension....I'm not sure why that is. I would LOVE to change my elbow position if I could, but I can't. I'll be going to a coach here in a few weeks, we'll see what he has to say ;) |
