If you can teach me geometry, THAT will be earth shattering.
Now that there is funny right there!!!

I still remember my Geometry teacher and the short skirts she wore (back in the 70s)....
Getting a visual on that.

Kyle......I love it....but I DID qualify it with "quite possibly".

It's also possible you're mimicking Rosie O'donnel and dressed in drag, right now.

I don't wanna know.........[8D]

(jk)

Have a great weekend.

I haven't read the entire thread.....so what happens when you have 1 pin? Thats what I have. I've killed deer right under my stand. I must be doing something wrong. Or right?

Premise is compound bow.....pins set at 20, 30, 40 and 50 yds.

Shot #1 - 2 yds at a broadside target.

Shot #2 - ZERO yds at a deer, broadside, directly beneath you.

Which pin do you use (to hit your "spot")for each shot? Remember topick asmall "spot"

**Edit - If you choose to use (to aim with)the arrow, your riser, a curling iron welded to your riser, a boar's hair dangling from your site OR any other method.....and it works, for YOU.....you are fully aware of your own abilities.....you are NOT a dumbass.....and you are quite possibly the greatest thing since sliced bread.
Do not have but 1 pin, why does someone need 4 or 5 pins.

The logic may be flawed, but my results speak for themselves. I aim just like I described in my post above and the results have been well placed shots with dead deer.
I'm with you on that one! 2 yards I put 20 yard pin on the white of the belly and deer is dead! Personally i would let the deer distance itself! Shot number 2 directly beneath you I do not take!!
I think GMMAT said it but this is near impossible unless your bow sight is below your arrow. If I aimed at the white of the belly with my 20 pin, I'd be searching for a bloodless arrow.

Scenerio 1 I use my 35 yard pin and practice it nearly every shooting session,

Scenerio 2 I honestly have no clue and like others wouldn't shoot (I know thats not an option in your question but it's fact) Hopefully if I obviously didn't have a shot on his approach I'll wait (or create one) on his exit. By "create one" I mean if he clearlyshows no intention of moving either way to present something it's time to mouth grunt.

jbowersox--I aim low and I hit where I want---call it a phenomenon, call it what you want...I am telling you when I aim low with my bow at close up shots, I hit where I want.....

I am gonna bust out my bow tomorrow and fire some shots again from elevation and really focus on this post...I will let you know what is up tomorrow afternoon.
