I agree it should keep you dry, but I'm sure it is horribly noisey, isn't it? I'm sure if you drew back on a deer they would here it, they are made of thin pvc covering.

Another vote for the Gander Mountain Tech2o gear. I have it in Realtree AP, and it works great. It's not quite as quiet as fleece but still pretty quiet for 100 percent waterproof gear. I think I paid $100 total and it packs into 2x seperate packs each a bit bigger than a 20oz soda bottle. Well worth the $$$ to be dry at all times and extra hunting time it affords me.

I vote for a tree umbrella too. I have never found affordablerain gear that will also keep me warm on a cold rainy day in NY.
