I sometimes have the same problem. It's not that I'm angry or trying to look like a Bad A$$, I'm trying to see if my camera man is using the camera properly! My friend Sam is horrible at picture taking! [:o]He'll usually have his finger over the lens, have the camera cocked at a weird angle and almost always chops off either the deers or my head! I always end up with couple shots of me with "the look". That's why it is important to take way more pics than you think you need. You can always delete the bad ones.

See what I mean? [:-]

Yeah Greg but the difference is you don't have to sit 15 feet behind the deer to make it look bigger....Maybe the dud's pissed off because he wishes his arms were longer.:D:D:D

It is kind of funny I was showing my wife a picture of myself that is on a testimonials page for a camo manufacturer just yesterday and she said you look kind of smug in the picture.I was doing my best to have a pleasant look on my face because I don't like the no emotion photographs. For me I think that I was really physically and emotionally spent,I had killed the buck on the last day of a ten day hunt, hunting in rain, freezing rain and sleet practically every day,and walking many miles each day.
You think about it,your up early, your physically exerting in the hunt it self you may have dragged the animal a very long distance and then you are posing for pictures, easy to understand how you may not look fresh and happy.
And John,I don't care how far Bobby is behind that buck, that thing is a slammer.I have seen that photo before in his book,I am going to check to see if he mentions his score, not that it matters,I just want to see what the measurement is relative to my perception from the photograph of how good a buck I believe it to be.

Some of us don't like our photo taken at all and second to that, don't like the way we look smiling so when the picture is taken, we have a dour look on our faces. Last time I had my pic taken, my guide noticed I wasn't smiling and said something to the affect that it looked like I was being intimate with the turkey just before the next pic was taken. I was caught smiling but still don't like the photo other than it'll always remind me of my first turkey that had 3 beards.
