As for the packers Favre brought this all on himself. Back in March he told the team he wanted to come back and they had a news conference setup then he backed out again.

Let him rot on the vine.

Who would not want a Brett Farve? Just the toughnest and his ability to make others better improves your team. All he needs is a good line and running game and he will pick teams apart.
Right now if I was the bears, with that defence, get a good running game, and ride Brett all the way to the superbowl[8D]

As for Wis debate, I think it has to do with outfitters, I think Ill has more.

Why would you not want to bring Farve back? He has said he would be willing to come back as something other than a QB. If you read between the line, I think Farve is wanting to get into the coaching side of the house. Bring him back as your #2 guy and let him teach the players how to be a REAL football guy.

After looking at the map that Va shadow showed us, Wis seems to be leading in the race in P & Y enteries....anyone care to explain why Wis doesn't get the same attention as KS and Ill?? By the way, Green Bay needs to make it right with ol Favre.....maybe that's why they don't the credit!!
P&Y entries are just that, entries. I have never had any of my bucks officially scored and could care less if my deer are listed in a registry that I must pay to register them in. My family alone might have over 30 registered P&Y bucks in Kane County, Illinois alone and that is between four hunters.
Many of us walk into the woods and hunt for our enjoyment and our reasons. Illinois Sportsmen are much less obsessed in my opinion with their status and success when compared to Wisconsin. I have heard stories of schools shutting down in other states when gun season is open, that doesn't happen in Illinois.

I would take Farve, with the Denver coach. His system works great with Older QB's

Does Farve Bowhunt in KS or ILL?

Guys, back on topic. If you want to talk Favre and football there is the Offseason Forum.

For the Wisconsin hunting, The lack of outfitters is 1 reason for the lack of intrest in the state. Buffalo county is mostly private land and you have to know someone or pay. You can kill a pope & young on public land but it's hard.
If you find a spot on public land there's a good chance somebody else arleady knows about it.Try and bring a camera crew to hunt 1000's of acres of timber for a week and see how boring of a show that would be.The tv crews go to areas/outfitters that have access to alot of deer that you can catch on camera. That is why you hear more about the other places. Just my opinion.
I would love to see Jackie Bushman or Bill jordan come up here and try and make it work.
