I am impatiently waiting for season to start. I can't wait to get out there and just relax and try to fill the freezer of course.

Coming up on my 41st Bow season I don't get excited this far ahead of time. I'd peak Way Too Early!!

I'll get in the swing of things about mid October. I'll then be peaking at the right time.

I still shoot my bows on a regular basis. I Love shooting and playing with new toys.

I'm chomping at the bit. I'd like to be spending more time putting out my scouting cameras and filling my feeding stations, but I just haven't been able to find the time to do it.

I just picked up my Pa license this past Sat. That'sthe unofficial start of my season. I'm pumped!!I will start shooting seriously after my foot gets better, and I'll put my trail cam out in another 6 weeks. Maybe a bit sooner since I'm getting antsy (sp).;)Also, I'm going to send for an antlerless permit for BradfordCo for the first time in about 20 years! I'm going to go up there to bring back some of those great memories from long ago!:)
Obviously, I'm really stoked about Alberta (yea I know, a broken record[8D]) because I'll be hunting the last week of Nov up therefor the first time. Should be some great activity jumping off! I'M PUMPED!!!!

You left out a very important choice... "I'm in PANIC MODE". I'm seeing no deer in the fields where I can hunt except a couple does and fawns. I can drive up the road 6 miles and watch two magestic beast every night with a little spike with them. These guys are already outside their ears. NOPE, the landowners has relatives that hunt it. All I can do is drool.[&:][:'(]:(:(:(:( I've even left the private land where the poachers rule at night and am looking at some public state land. I'm narrowing it down. It's about 1/4 mile from where the two big bucks roam. I'm in Panic Mode I'm telling you. I went walking my woods the other day and found a stand that I believe the neighboring land owner put up right near a favorite spot of mine. I'm in Panic Mode I tell ya.

I've honestly been so busy with work the last couple months that I havent even thought about the Sep. 6th opener. Once August creeps in I'll get back into hunting mode.
