I'm trying to learn something here.
The doe in my photo is a yearling (probably) and won't go 100#'s soaking wet (more like 80). I can check for larger doe photos.....but she's more the "norm" than the exception, here. Are you saying that deer in the Ridgefactor referenced photo IS a buck.....based solely on the tarsal gland size? I'm just curious. The deer in the original photo looks to be a youngin, also. I have no idea, actually. |

OK that is cool, Like I said IMO bucks have a larger tarsel gland, being they are bigger in body size.
