I shoot the commander and it is amazingly smooth and quiet, the bow has speed to spare. Keep in mind that this bow has a longer axle to axle than the others you mentioned, which works for me well. I recently just went looking for a back up bow and after shooting many I wound up buying the guardian which is the shorter version of the commander. The guardian hold all the same qualities of the commander, zero recoil, smooth draw and the quietest bow I have ever witnessed....
All the bows you mentioned are good quality bows and as you know you need to see what fits you the bestand feels the most comfortable....Good luck

I have both the 07 and 08 commanders - preferred the 07 commander for shootability of the ones you have listed - commander would be my choice

I shot all four recently and liked the 101st the most out of that group. I am a newbie but there was no contest in feel stealth and draw for me. Both of the bowtechs in my mind were better bows for ME. I will not hate on Matthews as I know they are a good bow as well but just not for me.

I don't see "None of the Above" as an answer so I didn't vote. Just be sure to shoot all of them before making any kind of decision!

Don't worry, most on here giving advise haven't shot them all either.
actually i have shot all these bows, so i am speaking from experience. i like the bowtechs. i personally won't have one because i've had limb problems with the 2 that i have owned. i also like both the mathews, but i like the dren ld more because of the longer ata and its faster than the switchback ld. but hey, thats just me

I'm not a speed freak. I'm more interested in a smooth draw, very low hand shock, and quiet. I'm not going to be taking shots at deer at 45-50 yards. A smooth draw is very important. I really don't like bows with a hard "wall" at the end of their draw cycle.

Then you don't want a Bowtech. Everything in bold is the reason to go the Mathews route. The portion in italics is the reson to go with the commander.

Good luck.

You just described why you should keep the bow you have
