I really love my Wasp Jackhammers 100' s........with that said:

1) Wasp Jackhammers 100 1 3/4" 2) NAP Shockwaves 3) I' d try a new head The new WASP Jackhammer 100 1 1/4" cut diameter! I think these should really penetrate good.

I' ll still stick with the 1 3/4" jackhammers but those new 1 1/4" will be fabulous for those bows with alittle less KE and or if you make alittle longer shots.

Good Luck!

I just got some Gold Tip Gladiators to try and so far I have found them to be the best of both worlds so to speak with 2 fixed blades and 2 swing blades plus a tip very simular to the muzzy tip.
The blades are sharp enough to shave hair out of the box.
They fly great just like darts.

I use and love the shockwaves took 6 deer with them last year alone and I have never had to really track a deer they expire within sight.

For me I love NO wait LOVE the shockwaves 100' s[:-][:-] Great head. I might try just for something different a steelhead and see how it goes. But for my two deer I got last year The shockwaves were great and had no problem dropping the two bucks last year. None went over 40 yards. :D

If all your looking at is penetration and durability in various types of media then that would change my vote. If however you are interested in finding what works well on deer sized game here is a few that I have had excellent results with.

1. Rocket Hammerhead 3L delivers respectable penetration for such a large cut and delivers enormous tissue damage.

2. Snypers from Rocky Mountain. The 125 grain head should be a smidge stronger than its 100 grain brother and the cam action of these blades are hard to beat.

3. Game Tracker EXP Firstcut Series. These heads may be the " sleeper" of the mechanical head world. I have taken good deer with both the EXP magnum (125 grain) and the EXP 125 with excellent results.

I have shot deer in every concevable angle with the Rocket Steelheads and they go right threw everytime. Two years ago I shot an 8 point with the Rock mountain Gators, I was shocked at the hole it made, the Snyper looks like a beefer version of that and would love to talk to someone who has some kills under there beld with them.
