Mine has been out for 3 months now and it was at 80%, I will be checking it in another month to see and that will be 5 months.....Greg, I agree mith Mike on the D-40's I have two and they are great, trouble free for over a year now but some of the other guys hvae bought them now too and a couple of them are having problems....Hit or miss, I guess I just got missed.....

Mine has been out for 3 months and it said 83% when I checked it last Sunday.

Greg, don't look for the same battery life on you D40 as the I40. Depending on how many pictures you take using the flash. Also the D40's seem to get buggy when exposed to prolong heat or cold. The infer red sensors get overly sensative and go off for no apparent reason. The I40 I have out now replaced a D40 from last year. I put it out in March and it is still on the first set of batteries. Not getting a ton of pictures though.

I appreciate everyone taking the time to give some input... Looks like I'll be looking at the I-40 the next time I buy a couple... Hopefully, I'll still be somewhat satisfied with these, too. Like I said, anything is a HUGE step up from that piece-of-junk basic Stealth I had before.
