Default Truglo sight question

whats thedifference between theTruglo Brite-siteXtremewith just the light and the one with the tritium fiber-optic pins. The only difference i knowof is that one cost more. Is there any reasonI should go with the TFO pins versus the light?

TFO (tritium fiber optic)pins use a capsule of tritium in the end of the pin so that the pin will glow in the dark for about 10 years with out an external light. Same thing that is in firearms night sights. Tritium probably costs more than gold per weight.

So it would probably be better to spend the extra few bucks on the TFO pins?

I havea TFO pin on my sight and I can see it glowing in my room, while my bow is hanging on the wall, when I wake up in the middle of the night.

You can buy the sight with the TFO pin and then buy the light seperatly.

If you want a TFO pin for low light it is cheaper to buy it on the sight as they cost $25 for an individual pin.
