Landon, you needed the iron in that nail! It will lead you to have super strength and sight in the woods this fall!

Baited breath huh? Maybe you'd have caught more fish if you had put the bait on the hook!

Man..I had to come home a day early. Worst vacation ever!! One kid got an ear infection, I stepped on a rusty nail and had to get a shot, the wife got her foot ran over by a go cart and I was with my extended family....they always get old... it rained several days, and I was bored out of my mind. No hunting mags down there and no hunting channel!! Anyway, I made it home in 3 hrs!!! It was quick and I was on a mission. Glad to be back!!

Yeah that is bad....

^^^ This above was Landon's trip to the Outer Banks.

This below was mine..... (if I'd known before what happened to you Landon... I wouldn't have sent you that PM.... I feel for you brother!)

The pictures of the beach and the fireworks and the fresh blackend on the grill Mahi Mahi and the sunset campfire are all on Reb's computer back in Norfolk. We had a great time though. Rebecca's Dad is the kind of father in law guys like me dream about.... takes you fishing... won't let you pay for fuel... just wants to you run the cockpit/clear and set lines, clean the fish and maybe grill dinner.... what a deal.....

Landon remember what I told you about the upper OBX on the 4th of July when we were bass fishing? You shouldn't have gone to Corolla!!!!... I told you it wasfull of yankees [:'(]!!!!!

Cape Hatteras is farther down and while we still have too many yankees.... there aren't as many rental houses... so the yankee type shennanigans are at a minimum. Or course listen to me talk here... being from VA we are considered yankees down there....perhaps the worst kind because I tend to show up lately at least once if not twice a month! The crew from O-hi-o only come once a year and they spend a lot of money, unlike us who catch fish from our own boat and bring our own food down. We are a din on the vacation industry I tell you!

Man I feel for you bud.... I really do... I'm glad y'all made it back in one piece... we bailed out Sunday morning right when the rain hit. I still don't think it put the damn fires out....

Haha!

Yeah I have a feeling that if the season opened tomorrow anything with hooves that remotely resembled a deer would wear an St Axis for the shear sake of restoring order and sanity!

Wife took a new job this year, no vacation until after she completes her first year. I was able to dodge the beach vacation myself this year. How will I ever adjust with only that 1 week trip to Illinois this November.
