Because it is a year round obsession. And you will find that the most successfull hunters are out there year round learning about them.

Mapping trophy whitetails but the author slips me right now.

In addition to the books or authors mentioned,I would suggest Bobby Worthington,a regular guy who gets`it done every year with some oh my god bucks.Gene Wenzel has written a couple of classics.Steve Bartylla (his last name may only have one L in it.I just finished his most recent book and it was excellent.

Once again much appreciated. I will try to visit online again within a few days. I might be getting some down time so I might be back sooner. But thanks for all of your recommendations. As I said earlier, I can't hit all of them but will look at as many as I can and order a few more. Thanks!
