Default Anyone have a clue...

I was putting up my favorite stand in my favorite spot and looked down and saw this. I know there are beavers all throughout the area, but Ive never seen one with their mouth open!

Is this a beaver? Seems too small to me, but I bet someone here can help me figure this out!

Way too small to be a beaver. Do you have ground hogs where you hunt? The teeth look a little big to be a muskrat, butI guess it's possible.

Muskrat skulls are really, really small.

I'm guessing it's from avery youngbeaver. Or maybe you have tiny hands?

I was thinking a Nutria also, but didn't know if they had them in Va. God knows we have them down here,by the millions. That would have actually been my first guess. Just looks a little too large for a Muskrat.

Sabertooth tiger, or maybe...... a muskrat. Too small for beaver.
