I am guessing that it wouldn't be a good idea. They are an awesome stand though.

Well, I had just gotten 14 Ameristep ladder stands for my bear hunters and she didn't say anything.......[:-]

But, you're probably right Scot. [:@] Thanks for tempting me.....and possibly getting me kicked to the couch.

I've never used the Lone wolf. It sure doesn't seem like a lot of "material" for $120 or $180. What's the hype? Are they that comfy?

It is going to sound funny but no the seat is not comfortable but it is easy to resolve by either putting a thicker seat on it or supplementing it with another pad. They are mold casted so they are incredibly sturdy and they will not squeak from twist or cold weather conditions, they are really easy to hang with their versa button system and they have a leveling feature to deal with plat form slant.
I have a lot of $30 to $40 tree stands, they represent the majority of my stands, because of the money out lay and the possibility of them being stolen. With the lone wolf stand it will be a stand that I am taking in and out with me for jumping right on hot sign and getting up a tree.

Gotcha. I sat in Gorilla's stand when I was in Illinois last winter. That stand is pretty comfortable. The seat is very thick and the platform is big...and I need that since I have big feet!!
