I'm thinking the bucks are damn near 2/3rds done growing. What you think?
I'm going to say high 150's and might even break 160. That's the best looking buck I've seen all summer!

Pictures are deceptive as you really cannot tell body size....compare the body to any other deer you have pics of in similar positions. If he is on the small side for what my WAG is a 3.5 year old, he would be in the 140s...if he is larger bodied than he initially appears he would be 160s this fall. Velvet bucks are deceptive - I think this one might add an inch to each tine but not much more.

It is hard to say right now, hard to judge mass. Good tines and they are only going to get better. From the pictures, looks like he will have have few deductions. I would think he will finish up in the high 150's-mid 160's. GREAT looking buck. You are going to need a good spot light if he keep that pattern up. The good thing is you know he is there, so come rut time he might get stupid and pop out in the day light. Good luck getting on him!

Being slightly generous I have him around 145" right now, how much will he put on when he finishes? Just show him to us this fall after you put a tape to him.

If he stops now, I would say mid 140's but if he keeps growing which it appears he will add some main beam length and probably some tine length, then he will go 150's but he could make it into the 160's if he keeps on growing. Great buck though!!! I wouldn't be waiting til next year except to pick him up from the taxidermist

Im gonna agree a little bit with you guys that say that he has a small body. I will post pics of a doe in as close to the exact postion he is in with the same size picture. Then I will show a pic of a deer witha big body. Through my experience though, I know that these deer tend to pack on some serious weight in the summer. All the deer look like skeletons right away in the spring and early summer.

This buck is closer to the camera but you can tell how thick and muscular he is. I REALLY hope that he made it. I hope to post some pics of him later on
