Will:

Amazing memories you must have. My hat's off to you.

Now....if you don't make a post this fall..... 'Back from NC'......I'm gonna feel slighted, though.

Have you ever considered trying for Cape Buffalo with the bow?
Its something I would love to try one day, there don't seem to be too many around who have taken them by bow.

Dogboy,

I have a date with a cape and Hippo in 2010. I will use my X-force for sure.

Jeff,

I'm working on the dates...

LT,

66 w/ bow and about thirty more w/ rifle, pistol, and muzzleloader-just under 100 total. I never thought hunting in Africa was my cup of tea either, but....I'm in love

Roskoe, not in a million years!

Magic,

The capes and horns are in Africa for thetime being. They will be dipping and then shipped within six months. That fee is around $500. I will have the taxi work done here.

Thanks again everyone!

Wow,Guys pay $4000 to hunt 1 whitetail and you get your hunt for $6000. The trip alone without hunting should be worth that! I may have to check into hunting there some day. I'll bet the first time would kind of blow your mind! Those animals seem so wierd in pictures, I'll bet they are something to see first hand. I would probably be so wrapped up in watching them I would probably forget to shoot!

Excellent hunt Will. Africa looks like an great place to hunt, I will have to start saving my pennies for a trip sometime. Is your elk hunt in Sept in an over the counter area or draw area? Congrats on your success.

I hope you guys realize the wealth of knowledge/experiencethis man holds. If you'll check out that link, again....I believe there's 38 OTHER journal entries to peruse.

Blown away by this man's accomplishments/experiences. Kudos, Will.

Iamyourhuckleberry, loved the African hunt. I am jealous! I would love to have a full zebra hide on my wall.

Though, I have a wee swatch at your Scotland hunt. Little Colorado eh? Come back again.
