I set up a 20' ladder stand in the woods behind my house. Thats where I practice shooting 3-D.

Make a quiver and attatch it to your haul line. You could also use your regular quiver on your bow, but using something with a greater arrow capacity is better when practicing.

I like to climb my stand really fast and/or do some fast paced push-ups before I climb up. Anything to help increase my heart rate. That makes it more realistic when I shoot, because when the buck of a lifetime walks into one of my lanes- it is likely that I will not be "calm".
