RE: I'm Tired....

The people that make bows know if they make fast bowssomeone wants a fast bow. My bow shoots around 272 fps with 407 grains an its going into the 5th season with me this year. I have my first pin at 17 yards. I judge distance after that an just shoot one pin. I know my bow an how much to raise it all the way out to 40 yards. I have no desire to shoot further than that matter of a fact never have shot farther than 27 yards at a deer.I do not need a bow that shoots350 fps with a 315 grain arrow.

People would be much better off learning to be a better shot than worrying about speed. Learning to shoot quickly, or holding for a long time, or odd angles, or different stances, or distance judging quickly.
Shooting in hunting situations is very seldom the same as shooting at a target in your back yard.
I practice for 3 or 4 times making sure my sites are on and then do exactly what your saying Mr. Magic.
To many people get up in corporate Americas MARKETING crap!
My budy shot more deer with his "used" 1982 Hoyt than most dream of - fyi @ 172FPS.
Go figure!

I shoot#59 -#62lbs with a 27in. 2413 or 2215 and 27.25in draw. I couldn't even tell what speed I get as I haven't bothered with a chronograph, shhh don't tell the deer that. I think this setup is more than fast enough. Just ask the guys that shoot longbows.:)

A shot over 200 FPS was thesound barrier of archery for thousands of years, and yet they did the job. I'lltakestealthover speed any day, now if I can just gain some stealthiness... :D

My PSE shoots @226fps, personally any new bow out there would be faster. Less drop from 20 to 30 would be nice!

RE: I'm Tired....

I agree...I get tired too....but when you look at the big picture...we want and desire the biggest and the best sometimes...not all of us...but in most cases I guess itshuman nature....

We want the best take down recurve...the fastest bow....the biggest blind...the best land....the biggest fastest ATV....the most lethal broadhead...Its like money....Most of us want lots of it....

I think anyone with a good sense of life....a giving person...one who helps....In the end....will have all of these things....
