Default I'm Tired....

Is it just me or is EVERYONE obsessed with Speed?

always asking what draw will get this speed?

if I shoot arrows like this or like that what speed?

Am I the only one that DOES NOT CARE.??

It's going to happen with anything, not just arrows, and archery. There's absolutely NOTHING you can do, guys will always do the same thing. Just like cars.

It doesn't bother me one bit, speed is speed. It has it's advantages, you can't argue that.

Speed does have its advantages....there is some truth in that.

but there is post after post after post, with the same lame questions, and the same lame answers.

It gets OLD.

Well just say...

If you want speed here's the recipe

Long draw length, high poundage, 5gpp or lower if you're daring, less weight on the string, few stranded string, 8125 instead of 452 string , the occasional brass nock near the cams will buy a few feet, feathers instead of vanes,no wraps, roll the cams aroundby twisting the cables (if applicable),and you can always buy a faster bow.

Here's an idea. Don't read the posts asking about speed.

People would be much better off learning to be a better shot than worrying about speed. Learning to shoot quickly, or holding for a long time, or odd angles, or different stances, or distance judging quickly.
Shooting in hunting situations is very seldom the same as shooting at a target in your back yard.
