RE: Water Sources?

Got one over a waterhole during a drought a few years back. The waterhole was mudhole the size of a 55 gallon barrel lid and a foot deep;). Deer can go weeks without food, only days without water.

RE: Water Sources?

I took a big Doe last year crossing the Black River that runs along our property, it got to an island and i dropped her dead on the island. Thank god I had my rockys on that day and the water where i needed to cross was only ankle deep. Other than thats thats the only i ever shot over water.
