PETA' s comparison of the Nazi Holocaust to the slaughter of animals for food is:
• An effective argument for animal rights
• An unfair and outrageous comparison
www.cnn.com lower right corner quick vote.

Well it looks as though PETA is pretty far out in left field on this one! According to the poll 89% of the people who have taken it so far think they are NUTS!

It seems like a lot of this stuff (there are better words to describe it) comes out of California. Too many down there (but not all) live in a make believe world. They live in a different country and it is not only a shame, it is an outrage.[:' (]

One thing that drives my a little crazy is how PETA assumes that all non-hunters are on their side. They believe about 9% of the population are hunters and 91% are on thier side. They use numbers like these to try to not allow hunting on public land.
Its a real shame how fanatical they are. I actually think that SOME of their causes are actually worthwhile. I don' t think that I have ever met a true hunter that does not have some respect of feeling about the way any animal is treated. But, with the way they treat hunters, I would Never, Ever be associated with them.

I just voted (4:55 p.m. eastern time) and out of 114,535 votes, 101,314 of them went to " an unfair and outrageous comparison" or 88%

Please enlighten me . . . what of their causes are worthwhile. I' ve never heard of any. And if there are, it has to be to get funding to carry on their work. Their only goal is to make VEGANS of us all.
