For the love of God!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

can someone tell me why a D loop/ string loop whatever ya call it,has to be so agitating?? I mean it seems like everyone I get put on ends up twisting, that would be ok if it didn't end up screwing with my peep. Anyway, I got a new tied on today but it seems a bit longer than the old one. and there is more space between the knock points. does length of the loop affect draw length or anything??

BCY-twisting problem solved.

As for your nocking points... Your nock on the end of your arrow should fit snugly against your nocking points, you shouldnt be able to move your arrow up/down any on the string once nocked.

And finally... yes different lengths of D-loops will create different draw lengths.

Of course it does, by about a 1/2 inch or whatever long it is from your string. I am wondering if I should just get rid of mine and shoot from the string. It seems like it might be a smoother shot from the string? You probably just need someone else to tie the loop on for you.

Swift, I did let someone else, always have Im moron, but, it seems nobody around here uses BCY!!! See Iwas told that you want some space to keep from pinching the nock. So you are saying that the nock should not have any play or roomto move??

The length does not change you dl it only changes your ancor point

Im no expert maybe Greg can Chime in but mine has NO play, because if you nock it low and sight in low, what happens when that play moves to high? Your bow is not sighted anymore. Thats the way i see it.

VA- It's really simple to tie your own D-loops, It's one of the few things I do own my own. I enjoy it. I would open up a D-loop tying business if i could.LOL. I got tired of nobody tying them how i wanted it. Check this thread out and try it yourself;)

It may not Change the ACTUAL DL of the bow, but your release is grabbing further/closer to the string thus creating a different DL;)
