Rage Broadheads

Everybody here uses them!!
Seriously, they will be on my arrows again this year. Both did their job last year with well placed shots. Doe went 40 yards and buck went 75 yards.
Just try them out on your setup before heading to the woods to hunt with them. It's the right thing to do!!!

I ordered a tree stand tonight in a Gander Mountain (Lone wolf assault) I saw the rage's under the glass counter top.Supposedly the three blade head is illegal in NYS,but the two blade is not.I have a bunch of Rockets to use up before I change heads.

Don't shoot them thru mesh of a blind. Mine opened up and I have the rip to prove it. Very hard to keep the blades from falling out also.

I used (on Rick James' recommendation) a Rocket style rubber band on the blade shoulders of my Rage 2 blades "Just in case" because yes they do open very easily if you bump them on a limb or pulling a second one from your quiver etc.
The ruber band on the blade shoulders gave me an extra peace of mind and it doesn't hinder the performance one iota........just keeps them from being so touchy to handle.
If I shoot them again this year I will cut a small notch on the blade shoulders of all of them to give the rubber band a small spot to seat into. Not sure if I will be using them, they worked terrific for me last season and flew great but I also picked up a 2 pack of Rocket Stricknines.......so now I have to weigh the benefit of (3) blade 2" with maybe a smaller entrance VS a (2) blade 2" with a for sure big entrance.
I am tuning the Rockets with a low blade base rubber band set up to help the speed at which they open.
We'll see........

I WILL use them out of a stand! But if I'm in my blind I'll use a fixed blade. Just my personal experiences.
