Hunter's Swap Meet at Double Lung
Hunter's Swap Meet July 12th!
On Sat. July 12th Double Lung Archery will be hosting a Hunter's Swap Meet. Hours are 9-4 with setup from 7:30-8:30
Bring your extra hunting items and sell them! Anything hunting related.
No Charge to set up but you need to bring your own tables and chairs.
You need to contact me to reserve a spot.
The swap meet will be outside so if you have a pop up awning bring it!
Of course Double Lung Archery will have some stuff for sale too!
In addition, we will have reduced price range time.
Food will be available for purchase (still working on the details)
If any of you are within driving distance it would be great to see you here!

Yeah Dave, open up a shop a little closer to St. Louis and I'll be there for sure. Your a bit of a drive for me right now, but good luck with it.
By the way, how has business been in your first year?

Buckmaster
Talk to your local pro shop and pimp the idea to him. Maybe they will host one too?
JM,
Maybe DLA II will be a little closer?
Peak,
It is about 90 miles from Dubuque to Waterloo
Take Hwy 20 west, when you get to Waterloo take Hwy 218 South, 9 miles later you will be at Double Lung Archery.
Probably take about an hour and a 1/2 to get here from Dubuque.

I wish I lived closer. My shop owner here did that a few years ago at my wife's suggestion. he had more people ther ethat day than he's ever had.
We tried to ge thim to have a shoot, that day....but he wouldn't do it. I'd suggest that....even if it was impromptu.
I have a large (pull behind the truck) cooker....and I cooked some things I brought plus anything anyone else brought for FREE. If you know someone with a cooker (for next time)....you can bet anyone who owns one would love to cook for you.
I'd also suggest raffling something off. A tree stand? Quiver? Bow? Whatever!
Good luck....and this is a VERY nice thing you're doing for your customers. Kudos to the shop owners out there who care enough to make things like this happen. It says a lot.

I am working on getting a local church's youth group to do the cookout to raise some $ for their activities.
Thought that would be a great tie in to the community and relieve me from having to deal with the cooking!
