The Desire and Passion..
How many of you, now approaching the dog days of summer before to long as it reaches almost 90 today here in VA, Long for that cool crisp 5:00am morning air of that opening day hunt?
Its probably my favorite part about hunting next to physically seeing deer, Is that first deep breathe of morning air when you first step out your door on your way to stand. The excitement and anticipation of what the morning holds for you.
Man.... Ive got it bad today....

You said it Aaron....along those lines, the fires fire in the cabin the night before the first day. All the guys and the anticipation of what is to come for the next month and a half. It's great.

Just today I cleaned my archery room, tuned my longbow, fletched 4 arrows for it, changed blades on 4 old Rocket Broadheads, watched Primos Bowhunting 5 (AGAIN), washed some camo, and reorganized all my camo clothes into specific tupperwear bins by season and pattern.
I'm fine.

Just a minute ago a huge storm kicked up with 50mph+ winds----it blew my "block" target into the woods...I was ready to go battle the winds to save my trusty companion!....then I chickened out!
Man, I am very excited about hunting this year as I am every year. I just feel each year I am getting better as my experience increases.....I am PUMPED!
