Just curious if anyone stores them anyway in particular in the off-season. I know the antlers dry out over the years and I finally have a set that I really like that are thick and give a nice sound. Anything I can do to preserve those and keep them from drying out?
Would soaking them in a bucket of water for a period of time help?
Thanks.

thanks for all the responses. Maybe I'll move them to the garage. Just started thinking maybe the drier air in the house may effect them over the long haul.
I may also try putting them in a bucket too.

Just keep them out of the sun and inside a building. I keep mine in the garage hanging off of a nail. They haven't weathered hardly any.

I left them in a tree once and while shed hunting I found them on the ground all chewed up. I thought I had found some nice sheds then I saw the rope around the base's. I was debbie downer the rest of the day.
