Default Bow Addiction!!

No offense, but I used to think you guys were crazy. I have always had one bow for years, and figured that was all I needed. I became a member of this forum and started reading how a number of other members had MULTIPLE bows, and pretty much added more each year. I thought these guys are crazy, why do you need that many bows. At least until now. I've recently added two new bows in the past year (which I'm perfectly happy with), but now I find myself wanting to add more also. This sport/hobby is ADDICTING!! Now if I only had a wife that understood and accepted the addiction!

Definitely, one is all you need. Well, maybe two (one for a backup). With so many nice ones out there now, it is hard to settle on just one. Boys and their toys I guess.

I used to believe that you only needed one, till I was on a paid hunt and my bow string blew. I was in the middle of nowhere and nobody to build a string or buy one from. Had a buddy that had a limb break on him in the same situation....Since then I have always kept a "back-up bow".....Of course thenI had my 3-d bow too, so I understand how you can start accumulating them. Last month I had 5 bows in my house (no junk either), I decided to sell a couple to friends that have been asking to buy them....I am back down to 3 and this is all I need, 2 hunting bows and a 3-d bow....

It's definitely an addiction.Since January,I bought 3 custom recurves(Shafer Silvertips),and 2 custom longbows(Black Widow and Shafer),and a PSE recurve for bowfishing.Hopefully I'm done for the year
