Good stuff Greg! Makes allot of sense. I can relate to what you say but sometimes prevailing wind directions make it tough to hunt certain hot paths leading from bedding to feeding areas that I would love to be sitting on, this is the case in my woods anyway. I wish the woods I hunt was flip flopped around. It would be so much easier to hunt the North prevailing wind then. My food sources (crops) are all North of the bedding areas and big woods. I can still do what you say but I've got to be that much more careful and only hunt when there's hardly any wind or if I get lucky enough and get a southish wind. Good stuff though Greg and thanks for the info!!

Greg, What time of day have you seen-shot trophy bucks? Do you hunt all day?

I usually do not hunt all day. I do not usually hunt mornings until around the 1st of Nov. During the month of Nov., in the mornings there are two hot times for me. They are 6:30 AM and 8:00 AM. There are two in the evenings as well, 3:30 PM and 4:30 PM.
