This muter buck went down hill, he was aged at 7 1/2+. He only weighed about 150lblive wight, he was skin and bones and almost toothless. He scored 146.

HuntingBry- I think you are very close at 320 lbs. I told my friends that I let hunt that they had to weigh that deer before field dressing it if they got him. I took one the year before that weighed 250 field dressed and was also 6 - 7 years old based on the sheds I had. I'm sure 'Bear' was bigger.

A couple of guys here at work were looking at the buck and had to say how much that would've sucked if he died down in a creek bottom and had to get him out. He is truly a monster. That neck has to be 30-32 inches.

Yea, those really old guys bulk up like you wouldnt beleive. The first pic is of a nice 3.5 year old and the next one is of
a deer that is much older. Note the 3.5 year old is closer to the camera so he looks larger - I would wager the older deer outweighs him by 40 lbs at least.




This is actually the same deer I posted a pic of a few pages back, half a mile away and a week earlier.

Isn't that the Pennyrile (sp) buck shot by an amish man in Kentucky? That must have been a heartbreaker!I would have cryed also...That things a giant.

i used to go to pennyrile ever summer to fish and swim. probably going to deer hunt a little there this fall too
