Where do you cut a FOC arrow? From the nock end or the insert end?

I cut them from the front. I've shot both the maxima and the maxima hunters and see no difference in placement.
I was hopping the finish would be better. It was only slightly better.

Cut from the front. If you cut from the rear it completely defeats the purpose of you purchasing FOC arrows to begin with.
It is still a good idea to cut an inch from the rear to eleminate any straightness issues near the end of the shaft but definetly cut the rest from the front.

If you're buying them already fletched, it's gonna hafta be the fore end, rather than the nock end. I think depending on spine issues, and desired FOC %, you may likely want to cut it from BOTH ends.

Cut from the front! Cutting from the back will move the added weight to the rear.
Not what you are after
