Hoenstly, I hope that everyone on here sticks a PIG....It would be nice to see Rory put the hurtin' on one with his bow..Hopefully I can film it !! Right Ror ???
Outside of the forum, I really want my brother to get his first bowkill. He passed on some yearling doe and a nice spike early last season with his bow. He also passed on a 4 pointer with my 20g H&R slug gun.
I mean, this kid has never shot a deer and he is already management minded. If I go back into the Corps, my farms will be in good hands....
He ALWAYS sees deer, always. We could be on the same farm, I wouldnt see anything but he would be covered in deer. So, this season the focus is on 30yard groupings, form ground and stand.
If he was confortable at 30yards this past season he could have taken plenty of deer, including a MONSTER 8 pointer....

i am very confident it will happen this september, my aunt lives in a suburban area on 3 acres, weve seen 50 to 70 deer any day of the year, all day. never hunted it though. and its only about 5 minutes from my house which equals a ton of hunting time. it will also be filmed by my best friend. hopefully in the future sometime anthony

I didn't a chance toreply to this (great topic, by the way)...
Who does the King root for? Hmph.
I root for a lot of guys on here to do well, particularly my personalfriends and teammates... See, there are a lot of great folks on here who I definitely would go out of my way to help out, if I ever had the chance... Particularly, I've got a real soft spot for the guys that work hard and bust their collective asses to make their own luckagainst the odds. These arethe guys I really root for - those whoget nothinghanded to them. They hunt against the public, constantly juggling work, school, family, money, time- and they still have time and decencyto keep things kosher with the fairer sex. We all carry the same flag.
Despite the hurdles, they're getting it done consistentlyand keeping their priorities straight, not self-destructing and maintaining a solid sense of normalcy. I dig that. People I'd probably get along with, whether they hunted or not.
Guys like Scott, Kyle, Wash Hunter Dan, Ryan, Dave, Gary, Troy, Atlas, Tsoc, NYbow, Bryan, Andy, Bloodcreek, Duke, Joe, Jason, 130 Dan, W, JZ, Jeff and plenty of others.
Let's face it - if you're working full-time, jugglinga milliondifferent facets oflife, and trying to kill trophy deer at the same time,it sure as hell doesn't come easy. That'sthe scarlet letter that we allwear, but you never hear these guys complain about it. They make due and enjoy the chances that they create, but have enough sense and decency not to allow the lust for giant racks to eat away attheir own family or personal foundation.
I especially pull for the younger guys. Pimpin aint easy.
