I know hogs are tough, I have killed a fair amount to know. However I feel that people talk of hogs as if they are invincible. Hogs are tough but I dont see where a rage would be a problem. Make sure of your shot and use rage you should be fine..

If I had already had the rage's andharvesteddeer without any problems I would use them on hogs too. I use a mechanical on everything I hunt and have been successful for 10+years. Deer, hogs, turkey, sika, axis ,fallow and elk. Then again if something works for me I am not one to change b/c of something I heard or a new product has hit the market. If I have confidence in my equipment and it has not let me down, that's whatI use...Good Luck

no but seriously i havew shot a boar with rages and it penetrated like 3 inches

I think the Rage would work well for you! And like other have said. Shot placement is key!!;)
