You better believe it......:D

I was a short lived college baseball pitcher with an honest 90mph fastball.(albeit I didn't always know EXACTLY where it was going)
17 years later I can still scoot it up there in the low 80's. LOL :)
I seem to have a knack for instinctive shooting and was blessed with a heck of an arm, so bring on the Atlatl.

I lived with the Aboriginesback homefor 18 months, those guys could not only throw a spear very simular to that but also could hit a pig while the thrower was in a full sprint.

I have tried it and was lucky to hit the broad side of a barn while I was standing still:D

I shoot a selfbow with arrows I've made and obsidian heads I knapped. Thats pretty primative. I'm not sure one of those would be something I could be acurate with at any distance. Pluss think of the movement needed to throw one of those and how fast a deer moves...I'm thinking these were used to wound an animal and then track it until it died or got so weak they could put a killing shot on an animal. ...Remember when these where used there was no thought of how humane you killed an animal it was how hungry you were.
