Biggest buckI killed in Bama was 160 dressed, never bothered to weigh the does. |

Seems that, from speaking with other hunters, the average wieght of an adult whitetail is in the 230lbs for bucks, range. 150lbs for doe range Not calling you a liar, but I find this hard to believe. Top end maybe, but not average. I hunt in IL and there are some monsters killed in my area. Not many bucks top out over 200 field dressed. My heaviest was 240 FD. And a 150 pound doe is a horse, can't see them averaging that weight. My heaviest doe was 147 FD I see these guys in the mid-west smacking 300lbs bucks and 250lbs doe !!! Thats BEAST !! Not in the Mid-West I live in. Maybe CANADA, but still rare there. |

Depends on the time of the season its taken. An October buck will generally weigh more than a mid November buck, and the mid November buck should weigh more than a late season buck due to rutting/chasing does and eluding hunters. My biggest dressed weight buck weighed in at 231 lbs. I've seen a few bucks much bigger, of course they eluded me:eek:.

140 for a buck and 110 for a doe

The ones actually weighed tend to be quite a bit lighter then those "questimated".

avg adult buck.....I'd say 200-235lbs dressed. so 270-300lbs live?

Mature bucks usually go about 180lbs, meanwhile a mature doe will go about 150.
My biggest deer was a 160lbs doe, my father got a 185lbs 9 pointer and that was a hog |

I would say a mature buck which I say is over 3.5 years old would weigh around 180-200lbs and a mature doe around 150,both of these are live weight.

I'd say 100-130 for a doe and 150-175 on a buck.These are averages only.Myheaviest buck was 208 and he wasn't all that old,3.5 at best.
