We got just under 5 months til bow season opens in Va, what about you and what state?? oct 4th!!

could have well over a year:(

with the looks of my fall schedule, i dont know if i will ever see my treestand come fall. 18 credits, all of which arent cake walks...and ontop of that, i am pretty sure we will be taking EMT training in the fall semester as well.

im sure i'll sneak away once or twice....but its gunna be tough. :(

next year is my last though....its all gunna be worth it

Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just checked the Mn DNR website and I did get drawn!! They dropped our permits by 50 hunters this year being there's way to many people in the area I hunt. I was afraid I wasn't going to get drawn. Damn I'm pumped now!!!!!!!!:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

I am in New Zealand EVERY DAY is bowhunting season!

Of course our deer are pretty shot up 365 days of the year with rifles, bows, out of helicopters, and poisoned, so they can be hard to find and are hard to get in close to.

I feel sorry for you guys BUT, I sometimes think if we had a season and people managed the deer as a resource here;
a) It would be easier on my girlfriend if I only wanted to hunt a few months of the year, and she might not object so much [&:]
b) We would have better quality animals out there to hunt.
c) They might be a little closer to home, and less wary.

Oct. 1st here in louisiana,but man it sure is still awful hot.Would like to see them push the opening and closing back a full month,that would be great.
