I just have the cobra .19 pin. I like the orange ring on the backside, easy to line up in the peep. I is a very bright pin also.Not a very good pick, but already had a picture of it.

Frank, HHA makes computer generated tapes for the Sliders also. I try to keep them in stock but lately they go out as fast as I get them in.

Yeah, I really like the tapes that they have. It is really easy to sight in too!!!!

I didn't read through all of the 4 pages of posts so I might be covering what others have already covered, which I probably am. :)

Anyway, I shoot one of the new HHA Optimizer DS Ultra 5519's with the Rheostat and this sight is awesome. When hunting, I leave it on 25yds, but I have more yardage with just a spin of a dial.

This sight really is built like a tank. It's all solid, there's no play or slop to be found in it. All the movement is gear driven, metal gears to boot. There isn't any added noise on the shot added by the sight or the rheostat. I don't even lock in the dial when I shoot, there's no need to, it doesn't move one bit. Not to mention it has micro adjust windage.

If price isn't an issue, I honestly think this is THE best single pin adjustable sight on the market and I've been lucky enough to play with many different kind. It's no comparison to a Cobra, or Top Gun, and is honestly even better than the VBG. The VBG would be my second pick because boy are they bright. The HHA is bright enough for me, and I have to use the rheostat to cover all the fibers when shooting in broad daylight.

It'll be on my hunting bows for a while.

BTW I have the .019" pin too

10' of Fiber Optic and it's not bright enough for you? My old eyes can see it with only a quarter Moon shining;)I like it just bright enough but not so bright it fuzz's out. IMHO HHA is the leader in that dept with the Rheostat housing.

Maybe you don't have the 10' wrap. There's less than $10 difference in the sights.

I use a single pin and a nikon range finder in my other hand...its adjustable out to 50 yards...with confidence and practice handling a range finder in the woods...it has proven successful.

I do, I also find it easier because I do not shoot passed 30 yards either but if I did it would only be 40 and I feel confident in a 40 yard shot with a single pin raised slightly higher. We do it with rifles past 250 yards, why not bows also?
