Lost bow kill "WARNING" graphic pics

I lost this doe to yotes and was thinking how often it happens. My shot was father foward due to the doe jumping the string and spinning.I waited 2 hours knowing the shot was off and this was what was left.I left the deer as I found it.Should I have recovered what was left or did I make the right choice. What would you have done?? All coments appreciated.

I lost one this past season, the Coyotes ate more than half the deer in 45 minutes. I took my stand back to the truck and went back for the deer, I was in shock!!!!!!![:-]

No,the arrow came out through the neck.If you look close in the pic she's facing, you can see the exit hole near the ground. She covered less than 100 yds.

Bummer, those suckers move fast! Although to be honest from your opening post I would have thought they had taken more than that!
I think I would have taken the back straps and maybe the hind leg that hadn't been chewed on. A lot of guys over here only take back staps and back legs anyway, as there is usually a 3 to 4 hour carry to get back out.
