I know that you have plenty in your neck of the woods, just curious as to why you concluded it was wolves. BTW, I would have done the same, been there done that.

bullet dont worry i am looking for wolves.. Everybody around my town shoots wolves because theres moreof themthan there is deer. I havent shot one yet though cuz i never can see them, there to smart for me..

Walk away. If things were different doing the right thing would be your duty however, the law already believes everyone is guilty and would take the opportunity to give you some trouble. It's not worth it. The dnr it seems isn't even bound by the laws law enforcement is. You have to walk away for your own good. Trust me, once you get into the system getting out is a real pain and expensive.

Yeah, that was a pretty outlandish statement. Is there studies to prove this? Doubt it. But I would have taken the fawn as well.
