ladder stands

Does anyone use these every year with consistency - I am thinking of purchasing a few for the lease - they will be 15fters and If I can conceal them I believe they might work out - would be nice to have a stand in place ahead of time -

I like ladder stands myself. They're cheaper and as long as the deer have a chance to get used to seeing them, they should work just fine for you.

I have 7, the lowest is a 12 footer. My Dad killedTWO 170 class bucks from that stand in consecutive years (05-06).The rest are 15'. . .they've all produced.

I have several, and Jawshooter has almost 15 of them at his place. We hunt them a lot with great success. Dick's Sporting Goods has a great deal on them every year, I got mine for $49 each as a 15' model, and for another $20 each you can buy 5' extensions making them 20'.

My son uses about four ladder stands from 12' to 15' and had great luck using them. we just brush them in a bit and try to get a good back drop cover.

I have a couple that are 15' and they work out alright. I prefer to set them up against larger Oaks or in Cedar trees.

I have one 15-20' that I leave up year round. I've hunted it a few times. Never took a deer out of it, but have seen quite a few in it. Only downside is they're kind of cumbersome to move on your own.
