I've seen it a few times, but the coolest was watching a doe stand on her hind legs for minutes at a time pulling persimmons off the tree. I thought that they waited for them to hit the ground, but I was wrong. I would have take photo/video but I was at the McAlester Army Ammunitions plant and you cant have anything with glass, lenses, or battery power... that means no cameras, RF's, binos, etc.

Weird. I guess this is much more common than I had thought. The ones standing up look like they're looking down their snouts at the 4 leggers! Anyone know how far a deer can walk on their hind legs or how long they can stay up on their hind legs? |

I got pictures of them in the winter doing this all the time. Its like there boxing over my shelled corn. They do it at each other though as there sparring!
