Maybe not such a smart thing though.
Your compounding it by publicly admitting it though. It could come back to haunt you and I'm sure the authorities if they get involved know that someone who does this is going to brag about it. AAANNNDDD judging from some here you should worry about them "doing their civic duty" turning in a criminal such as yourself.[:'(]
You could go and find the lady, confess and take it off. Most likely you'd be preaching to the choir. Wouldn't surprise me a bit if she hasn't done something similar herself, or her friends. I'd bet money on it. Just my .02

Peta members are not known for their adherence to the democratic process in expression of thier own beliefs so right back at her.
The only thing that bumper sticker does is make her the butt of the joke when seen by other drivers. I'm sure if another anal-retentive peta member sees it, they'll immediately tell her. I suggest that if any of the anal members here see any contrasting bumper stickers they also inform the driver asap. Wouldn't want anybody to appear foolish, would we??
