I have shot both size pins and overall I like .019....for me, the smaller the pin, the better my groupings. It also lets you get a closer pin gap for fast bows. It also takes up less space when looking at a target, giving you clearer view. But I think it comes down to what you like. if you have bad eyes you might want to go with .029. some companys now offer a .010 pins...that's a little small for me. I don't think you could go wrong with either

my best advice is to go with a company that offers zero pin gap.....I learned the hard way....my new $150 sight isn't living up to what the company has in its ad. it stated zero pin gap, but it's not possible on my sight. little mad right now

I just purchased the five pin .019 sight from toxonic and so far so good. Iwas a little worried about that they might not be as bright in low light, but so far they seem brighter than my .029 pins. The main reason I went for the smaller pins is that my pin will cover up less of the target, which is a big advantage when shooting out 30 yards+.

Huge difference, go with the .019 and you'll never be able to go back to .029. I just got to check out the Apex Gear Nitrus when I set up my friends bow and it's by far the nicest sight I've come across. I'm thinking of replacing my SureLoc with one.
